About.

Zoe is a survivor of a high-profile domestic violence attack having been tortured and held for over 8 hours. Although she escaped with her life, she was then subjected to a justice system that she describes as broken. Her battle had only just began and she had to fight many prejudices in order to have her 4 year old daughter returned to her care. Something Zoe says “No loving mother should have to endure”

Zoe has since written about her experience in her book Mind Over Manipulators which will be available to buy in National Stalking Awareness Week 25th – 29th April 2022

Her 20+ years of professional experience working across Public Sector; Health, Law Enforcement & Local Authority advising on technology and services supporting government policy, and having ran a child protection agency Zoe could see clearly where the system was and often still is failing.

Since her ordeal Zoe has embarked on a journey to make a difference.

As a regular commentator in the media, Zoe campaigns for the rights of women, victims of domestic abuse and stalking.  She has made fundamental changes in both the criminal and family justice system using her own experiences to highlight failings and has changed legislation to close loopholes.

Sitting on the exec trust board of Paladin National Stalking Advocacy Service, the first trauma informed service for high-risk victims of stalking to support the charity in strategic direction and is involved in the Victim & Witness Engagement Group in Ministry of Justice (MoJ) inputting into court reform.

Zoe says “I am compelled to make change so others do not have to endure what I did. My hope is that my book and this website give other victims hope and validation plus the tools not just survive after abuse but to thrive and grow into a stronger person”

Always thinking of others Zoe has even incorporated her keen interest in property to house victims of abuse to help eradicate homelessness.
